FAMILY BREAD 
1 pkg. active dry yeast
2/3 c. warm water (105 to 115 degrees)
2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. wheat germ
2 tbsp. oil
1 egg
3 c. Bisquick baking mix
Soft butter

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Stir in remaining ingredients except butter; beat vigorously. Turn dough onto floured board. Knead until smooth, about 20 times. (Dough will be very soft.) Roll dough into a ball; place on greased baking sheet. Shape dough into round flat loaf 9 inches in diameter. Cover; let rise in warm place until double, about 30 minutes. Heat oven to 400 degrees. With long-handled wooden spoon, make deep creases in loaf about 1 inch apart. Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. While hot, brush with butter.
