PRETZEL JELLO SALAD 
3/4 c. butter
1 (6 oz.) pkg. or 2 c. crushed pretzels
1/2 c. + 3 tbsp. sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 (12 oz.) container Cool Whip, frozen
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. strawberry Jello
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen strawberries
2 c. boiling water

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Melt butter in 9"x13" baking dish. Mix pretzels and 3 tablespoons sugar and spread over melted butter. Bake 8 minutes. (Do not over bake.)

In small mixing bowl mix cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar. Add frozen Cool Whip. Mix well and spread over pretzel mixture.

In medium bowl dissolve Jello in boiling water, add frozen strawberries. Chill Jello until it starts to thicken. Pour over cream cheese mixture; chill until firm. Cut into squares to serve.

NOTE: You can use any type of fruit and use same flavor Jello. If using canned fruit, substitute one cup juice for one of the cups of boiling water.
