1 c. cornstarch 2 envs. unflavored gelatin 1 c. soap flakes Cooking spoon 2 c. cold water Saucepan Sm. jars with lids Dissolve the cornstarch in 1 2/ cups of cold water. Dissolve the gelatin in the remaining 1/2 cup of cold water and add to the cornstarch mixture. Cook over medium heat until the mixture is thick; stir occasionally. Stir in the soap flakes. When the mixture cools slightly, divide it into the small jars. Add a different food color or paint to each jar, stirring thoroughly so the color is well blended. Store in the refrigerator, tightly capped. Dampen a piece of glossy shelf paper or finger paint paper with a sponge. Create away! |
