SCALLOPED POTATOES 
6 med. potatoes
3 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
3 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. chopped onion

Pare potatoes; slice thin. Make white sauce of butter, flour, milk. Put half the potatoes in greased 2 quart casserole; cover with half the sauce, seasonings and onion. Add remaining potatoes, seasonings, and onion; then remaining sauce. Cover and bake in 350 degree oven about 1 hour. Uncover and continue baking until top is browned. Makes 4-6 servings.
