MINESTRONE 
5 c. water
2 tbsp. garlic powder
2 tbsp. dried or fresh basil
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
4 c. chicken broth
2 tsp. parsley
10 strips bacon, cut in 1/4 inch pieces
1 lg. can crushed tomatoes
1/2 lb. elbow macaroni
1 c. chopped tomatoes
1 can cannelloni beans (white kidney)
4 sm. zucchini, diced
1 can sliced, pitted black olives
2 med. chopped onions
1 tbsp. thyme
1/2 bag fresh spinach or 2 boxes frozen leaf spinach
6 diced carrots

Put all ingredients into large stock pot, except macaroni. Simmer 45 minutes. Add macaroni, simmer 1/2 hour.
