MEATBALL AND MACARONI SUPPER | |
1 lb. ground beef 1/3 c. chopped onion 1 egg 1/4 c. milk 1 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 1 c. soft bread crumbs 1/4 tsp. oregano 2 tbsp. Wesson oil 1 (6 oz.) can Hunt's tomato paste 1 c. water 1 tbsp. brown sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 2 c. cooked macaroni Combine beef with next 7 ingredients; mix well. Shape into 1 inch balls. Brown on all sides in Wesson oil. Remove excess fat. Combine Hunts tomato paste, water, sugar and salt. Add to meatballs; simmer, covered 15 to 20 minutes. Stir in macaroni, heat 5 more minutes. 4 servings. |
