EASY CHEESY GRITS | |
6 c. boiling water 2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 c. uncooked regular grits 3 eggs, beaten 3/4 c. melted butter 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese Dash of hot sauce 1 tbsp. seasoned salt 1/8 tsp. paprika Combine water and salt, bring to a boil. Stir in grits, cover and cook over low heat 20 to 30 minutes or until done. Combine remaining ingredients. Add a small amount of hot grits to egg mixture, stirring well, stir egg mixture into remaining grits. Spoon mixture into well greased 3 quart casserole. Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour. Yield 10 servings. |
