RAISIN BALLS 
1 1/2 c. raisins
1 c. water
1 c. Crisco
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
3 1/2 c. flour, sifted
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Cook raisins in water until all water is gone. Cream Crisco, eggs and sugar. Add sifted flour with soda and salt added, then add raisins and vanilla to mixture. Roll in balls, then into sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Grease pan.
