FROSTED SHORTBREAD | |
1/2 c. butter 1/4 c. butter 1/2 c. packed brown sugar 2 c. sifted flour 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi sweet chocolate pieces, melted 1/2 c. finely chopped nuts Cream butter and butter in large bowl; add brown sugar gradually, beating until light and fluffy. Fold in flour; blend thoroughly. Press into ungreased 9"x13" pan. Bake in 325 degree oven for 25 minutes. Spread with chocolate immediately; sprinkle nuts over top. Cut while warm into 2" squares. Yield: 54 squares. |
