CHERRY CHEWBILEES | |
1/2 c. chopped nuts 1 1/4 c. flour 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. butter or Crisco 1/2 c. coconut FILLING: 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 2/3 c. sugar 2 eggs 2 tsp. vanilla 1 can cherry pie filling 1/2 c. chopped nuts Mix crust ingredients. Set aside 1/2 cup. Press remainder into 9 x 13 inch pan and bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool. Combine filling ingredients and spread over crust. Bake 15 minutes. Spread cherry pie filling and nuts over cream filling. Combine nuts and reserved crumbs, sprinkle over the cherries. Bake 15 minutes - cool and cut in squares. |
