SWISS GREEN BEANS | |
2 tbsp. melted butter 1/2 c. bread crumbs 2 tbsp. butter 2 tbsp. flour 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/4 tsp. instant onion 1 tsp. sugar 1 c. dairy sour cream 4 c. French cut green beans (2 pkg., cooked & drained) 2 c. grated Swiss cheese Mix crumbs with melted butter and set aside. Melt 2 tablespoons butter over low heat; add flour, salt, pepper, onion and sugar. Add sour cream and stir until smooth. Increase heat to medium; cook until bubbly and thickened, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Fold in green beans. Spread in greased baking dish. Sprinkle cheese evenly over beans and sprinkle crumb mixture over cheese. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Serves 6. |
