GLAZED FRUIT SALAD | |
1 lg. can chunky pineapple 1 lg. can mandarin oranges 1 lg. can chunky pears or pear halves, cut up 1 lg. can chunky peaches or peach halves, cut up 2-3 bananas, cut up 1 hour before serving 25-30 strawberries or maraschino cherries or both 1 lg. can chunky mixed fruit 2 (3 oz.) boxes regular vanilla or French vanilla pudding Drain all juices well; save pineapple and mandarin orange juice. Add water to equal 2 cups. Boil 2 cups of liquid with pudding until thickened and shiny. Cool. Mix with all fruits except bananas. Add bananas about 1 hour before serving. Makes very pretty salad served in glass bowl. Makes a large bowl of salad. |
