MACARONI AND CHEESE 
2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. minced onion
3 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 3/4 c. milk
10 oz. cheddar cheese
4 3/4 c. macaroni

Bring 4 quarts of water to a boil. Cook macaroni. While water is getting hot, grate cheese.

In a saucepan, melt butter. Stir onion, flour and pepper into melted butte on low heat. Turn heat to high and gradually stir in milk. When mixture boils, reduce heat and simmer for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and add grated cheese. Put drained macaroni into 3 quart casserole, stir in cheese sauce mix. Bake in 350 degree oven for 15 minutes.
