CHICKEN WITH CHEESE MUSHROOM
SAUCE
 
1 cut up fryer (3 lb.)
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
2 sm. cans mushrooms
1/2 c. milk
8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 sm. onion, chopped
Curry powder, optional

Lay pieces of chicken in 9 x 13 inch pan. Salt and pepper meat. Mix remaining ingredients in double boiler or over low heat. Cook until cheese is melted. Pour 2/3 of mixture over chicken and bake 2 hours at 300 degrees. Do not cover or stir. Serve with white rice and remaining sauce. Serves 4-6.
