O.'S CLOVER LEAF ROLLS 
1 c. milk
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 cake of yeast
3 eggs, well beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
4 1/2 c. flour

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Heat milk and add to 1/2 cup shortening. Add sugar. Take off burner and cool. Add yeast. Stir until dissolved. Add eggs and beat well into mixture, adding 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Put 4 1/2 cups flour into large bowl. Mix other ingredients into the flour. Place on floured board and knead for 2 minutes. Let rise until doubled in size in a greased bowl. Let set for 2 to 2 1/2 hours to rise. Punch down and roll into 3 small balls and place in greased muffin pans. Bake 20 minutes.
