1 c. oatmeal
1 c. honey
2 eggs
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. boiling water
2 c. whole wheat flour
Nuts, optional

Mix oatmeal, honey, eggs, nutmeg, cinnamon, soda, salt and vanilla well. Stir in boiling water and beat until smooth. Add whole wheat flour all at once.

FROSTING:

1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
2 tsp. butter
1 tsp. honey
2 tsp. milk
Chopped nuts

Mix all ingredients, except nuts, together well. Spread onto cake. Sprinkle with chopped nuts.

NOTE: May need to add more milk for right spreading consistency.
