ROCKY ROAD CANDY 
If you buy "cute" Easter treats, then end up throwing them away, maybe you should try making your own candies. Here's an easy recipe to make for the always popular. Rocky Road Candy.

1/2 c. Planters peanuts
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. miniature marshmallows

In a double boiler, over low heat, completely melt chocolate chips. Remove from heat and stir in marshmallows and peanuts. Drop by tablespoons onto waxed paper. Chill. Store candies in a covered container away from heat. Makes 18 candies.

NOTE: Don't let steam water get into the broiler pan with chocolate chips or white spots may appear on the candy.

Melting the chocolate chips doesn't work well without Carnation Evaporated Milk. It's what makes it creamy. Also insead of dabbing it onto wax paper you can put in a pyrex dish, wait for it to harden and then cut up little squares.

I did it with cooking chocolate and Whittaker's dark. Worked very well.
