1 c. butter
1/2 c. sour cream
1 1/4 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
Flour to stiffen
Flavor with 1 tsp. lemon juice, 1/2 tsp. nutmeg or cinnamon

Cream butter and sugar. Add sour cream and dry ingredients. Add flavoring if desired. This dough may be made stiff enough to roll out and cut with cookie cutter or it may be made less stiff and dropped from spoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes.
