1 lb. ground lean sirloin 2/3 c. diced onion 2 cloves minced garlic 1/2 c. chopped red bell pepper 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. black pepper 1 tsp. cajun seasoning 1/4 c. chopped parsley 1/4 c. chopped yellow bell pepper 1/4 c. chopped red onion 1/4 c. chopped green bell pepper 1/4 c. finely grated Mozzarella 2 cans of 8 refrigerated crescent roll dough Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Brown meat in medium skillet until no longer pink. Add next 7 ingredients and cook on low 2 more minutes. Remove from heat and drain grease. Stretch out 1 can of dough and pinch all openings together. Place dough on a large cookie sheet in an oval ring. Put meat mixture in center of dough. Stretch second can of dough and place it on top of meat; pinch up sides of dough until there are no more holes. Place yellow and green pepper and red onion in repeating pattern on top of cake. Brown it in oven 13 to 15 minutes. Remove and sprinkle on Mozzarella. Serve while hot. Serves 6. 560 calories per serving. |
