CARAMEL PECAN LOGS 
1 (14 oz.) or 2 (6 1/4 oz.) Kraft caramels (about 40 caramels)
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Pinch of salt
1/4 c. Pet milk
1 (1 lb.) box powdered sugar
2 to 3 c. chopped pecans

Melt caramels and butter over double boiler. Remove from heat; add salt, vanilla, some pecans and milk. Work powdered sugar into mixture. Set aside for 20 minutes. Shape into logs and roll into pecans. Coat well. Refrigerate. Slice and serve after chilled.
