ONION SHORTCAKE 
1 recipe baking powder biscuits
2 c. sliced Bermuda onion
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1 c. sour milk or buttermilk
Salt and pepper

Pat biscuit dough into flat 8x11 pan. Saute onions until transparent, cover dough with onions. Beat the eggs into the sour milk and pour over onion dough. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
