3 c. Gold Medal self-rising flour
3 tbsp. sugar
1 (12 oz.) can warm beer

Mix together. Leave lumpy. Grease bread pan. Brush top with beaten egg and sprinkle with a little sugar. Bake 45 minutes in 350 degree oven. Test with toothpick.
