PICKLED EGGS 
1 c. vinegar
1 c. water
1 tbsp. allspice
1 can sliced beets
1 section garlic clove
1 doz. hard-boiled eggs
1 sliced onion

Boil vinegar, water and allspice. Let cool. Put the beets, sliced onions, sliced garlic section and vinegar mixture in a large bottle. Soak the hard boiled eggs in the mixture for at least one day. Keep the eggs in the mixture refrigerated.
