2 c. flour
1 c. salt
4 tsp. cream of tartar
2 tbsp. oil
2 c. water
Food coloring

Mix the flour, salt and cream of tartar. Stir in the water, oil, and food coloring. Stir over medium-high heat and ignore the lumps. Cook until very stiff and mixture becomes hard to stir and begins to leave sides of pan.

Remove from heat and dump onto a lightly floured counter. Dough will be hot and sticky. Knead 2-3 minutes until you have a smooth consistency. Store in an air-tight container.
