HOMEMADE VEGETABLE SOUP 
1 lg. pkg. frozen mixed vegetable
1 lg. can tomato sauce
1 can stewed tomatoes (lg. size)
1 med. sized chopped onion
2 tbsp. vegetable seasoning
Salt & pepper to taste
1 tbsp. chili powder
3-4 Irish potatoes, peeled & chopped
1 lg. can cream corn
3 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 c. barley
1 bay leaf
1 lb. ground chuck roast

Brown meat in a large pot until no red is showing in it, then add the rest of the ingredients. Put the stewed tomatoes through the blender or food processor before putting into the pot. Bring to a quick boil. Place lid on top and lower heat to simmer. Takes about 25-30 minutes.
