Make crust of 2 cups graham cracker crumbs, 1/2 cup chopped pecans and 1/2 cup melted butter. Press into spring form pan on bottom and 1" up sides of pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 5 minutes. Remove from oven and pour in filling.
FILLING: Beat 4 eggs until thick, at least 10 minutes. Beat 16 ounces cream cheese with 1 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla until well mixed. Stir into eggs. Pour into crust. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
While cake is baking, mix 1 pint sour cream with 10 tablespoons of sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla. At end of 45 minutes baking time pour this mixture on top of cake and return to oven for 5 minutes or until set. Cool slightly and then refrigerate. Keep refrigerated.
