OLD FASHIONED LEMON COOKIES 
1 c. lard
3 c. white sugar
1 pt. sweet milk
4 tbsp. Bakers Ammonia, dissolved in 1/2 of the milk
3 eggs
1 or 2 bottles of lemon oil
Flour, enough to make a stiff dough

Cream sugar and lard. Add beaten eggs and remaining ingredients. Stir well after each ingredient. Roll out and cut into any shape you want. Bake at 350 degrees until done.
