SHARON'S SUMMER FRUIT SALAD 
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. brown sugar
Juice from 2 lemons & 2 oranges
2 tsp. vanilla extract
Assorted sliced fresh fruits

Apples, strawberries, raspberries, grapes, bananas, cherries, peaches, melons, etc. (any combination, leave skins on), about 4 to 6 cups.

Bring first 4 ingredients to a boil in small saucepan and simmer for 5 minutes. Pour over fruits. Chill and serve. Looks nice in a crock with mint. Can be doubled.
