PECAN PIE (MAPLE) 
1 (9 inch) unbaked pastry shell
3 eggs, unbeaten
1 c. maple syrup
1/2 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. pecans, chopped
1/2 c. pecan halves

Place rack on lowest position in oven. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl combine all ingredients except pastry shell and pecan halves. Pour into pastry shell, top with pecan halves. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until golden, cool.
