1 c. shortening (or half shortening and half butter)
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. milk
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
4 c. flour
1 lg. pkg. chocolate chips
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream shortening and sugars. Add eggs and milk. Sift together dry ingredients and add to above. Mix in chocolate bits and vanilla. Drop by teaspoons into greased cooking sheet. Bake 15-18 minutes at 325 degrees. 6 dozen.
