TASTY TACO PIE 
1 lb. hamburger
1 can stewed tomatoes (16 oz.)
1 pkg. taco seasoning mix (Tio Sancho)
1 lg. onion (chopped)
1 green pepper (if desired) (chopped)
1 pkg. (10-12) floured soft tortilla shells
12 oz. shredded cheese (Monterey Jack or any cheese, depending on your own taste)

Fry together hamburger, onion, and pepper until hamburger is cooked. Add taco mix and 3/4 of the stewed tomatoes. Cook about 5 minutes.

Using a deep (approximately 6 inch) pan, line the pan with tortilla shells (approximately 6 shells, bottom and sides). Put 1/2 of the hamburger in the bottom of pan. Sprinkle hamburger with cheese. Cover with 2 more taco shells and repeat with hamburger and cheese and 2 more taco shells.

Pour the 1/4 of stewed tomatoes over the last 2 taco shells and sprinkle with cheese. Cover and cook in 375 degree oven for 30 minutes. Serves 4-6 people.
