CREAMED SPINACH | |
1 pkg. frozen chopped spinach 1 tbsp. butter 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. onion powder 1 tbsp. flour 1/2 c. sour cream or sour Half & Half Partially thaw spinach. Add to melted butter in heavy skillet. Add seasonings. Cook overed over high heat a minute or two; reduce heat and cook 5 minutes longer, breaking spinach up with fork to hasten thawing. Sprinkle flour over spinach, blend; add sour cream, blend again; and cook over low heat about 2 minutes. |
