KNOCKWURST AND CABBAGE | |
4 knockwurst 1 tbsp. oil 1 chopped onion 1 clove garlic, crushed 2 sliced carrots 2 c. water 6 oz. can tomato paste 1 beef bouillon cube 1 tbsp. cider vinegar 1/2 tsp. caraway seeds 1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper 1 head cabbage, shredded 2 potatoes, cubed Slit sausage. Brown in oil. Remove and set aside. Add onion, garlic, and carrots. Saute until onion is soft. Add remaining ingredients except cabbage. Cover and simmer 20 minutes. Add cabbage, simmer until done. |
