FRITTER FRIED OKRA 
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs, well beaten
1/3 c. milk
5 c. thinly sliced okra
Hot vegetable oil

Combine flour, baking powder and salt in a medium bowl; add eggs and milk, beating until smooth. Add okra, stir until well coated. Spoon okra into hot oil in a large skillet, cook, stirring occasionally until golden brown. Yield: about 6 servings.
