LOW CALORIE POTATOES AND PEAS 
Scrub small new potatoes well. For quicker cooking cut in quarters, but in either case leave the tender new skins on the potatoes. Add just enough water to cook. Season to taste with salt. Add chicken or beef stock cubes to taste (1 per cup of water is a good guide). When potatoes are almost tender, add frozen or fresh peas and cook just until peas are tender. Do not overcook. Peas and potatoes cooked together in this fashion need no butter or sauce and are delicious with ham or chicken.
