FREEZER SLAW 
1 med. head cabbage, grated
2 tsp. canning salt
1 carrot, grated
1 chopped green pepper
1 c. cider vinegar
1/4 c. water
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. mustard seed
1 tsp. celery seed

Mix cabbage with salt. Let stand 1 hour then PRESS OUT EXCESS LIQUID. THIS IS A MUST OR SLAW WILL BE BITTER. Add carrot and green pepper.

Tie celery and mustard seeds in a spice bag. Boil spices, vinegar, water and sugar together for 3 minutes. Let vinegar mixture stand until warm. Remove spice bag and pour liquid over slaw and freeze. This slaw may be refrozen time and time again.

Very good for use in summer for camping or at the cottage.
