GRANDMA'S QUICK COFFEE CAKE 
1/4 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
Pinch of salt

FILLING:

2 tbsp. butter
1 c. walnuts, chopped
1 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. cinnamon

Cream butter. Add sugar and mix well. Then stir in eggs. Add alternately the milk and the flour, which has been sifted with the baking powder and salt.

Filling: Melt butter and pour over nuts, brown sugar, flour and cinnamon. Pour half the batter into buttered 8 x 12 x 2 1/2 inch pan. Add 1/2 the filling, then remaining batter, finish with rest of the nut filling. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
