BUTTERMILK SALAD 
1 (15 1/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained
1 (9 oz.) container cool whip
1 large box strawberry Jello
1/2 c. nuts
2 c. buttermilk

Bring pineapple to boil and add jello. Stir until dissolved. Chill until partly congealed. Add buttermilk and beat until smooth. Fold in cool whip. Chill until firm. Salad is very light if mixer is used for beating.
