FRESH APPLE POUND CAKE 
1 1/2 c. salad oil
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla
3 lg. apples, cut into sm. pieces
1 c. chopped pecans

Combine oil, sugar, and eggs; beat well. Combine flour, salt, and soda; add to creamed mixture. Add vanilla. Fold in apples and pecans. Grease and flour 10 inch tube or bundt pan; pour in batter. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour 20 minutes. Cool for 20 minutes; remove cake from pan. Pour on sauce.

SAUCE:

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. milk

Combine in saucepan; bring to boil, stirring constantly. Cook 2 minutes and pour on cake.
