MOM'S TORTILLA CASSEROLE 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 can Hunts special sauce
1 pkg. taco seasoning
1 chopped onion
1 sm. can green chiles
1 sm. can tomato sauce
1 pkg. flour tortillas

Brown ground beef and chopped onion in skillet. Add special sauce, tomato sauce, green chiles, and taco seasoning. Simmer for 5 minutes, then layer the flour tortillas, a layer of sauce until all is used in your crockpot that has been lined with aluminum foil.

Set crockpot on low and cook slowly 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Let sit a few minutes before serving. Cut into slices and top with a sauce as follows:

SAUCE:

4 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. flour
2 to 2 1/2 c. milk

Melt the butter in a pan. Add the flour and stir into a paste. Add the milk and stir until it begins to thicken. Then add 2 cups shredded cheese and 1 can of green chiles. If too thick, add a little more milk.
