BEST COOKIE EVER 
2 sticks butter, softened
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. flour
2 1/2 c. plain uncooked oatmeal
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (12 oz.) bag chocolate chips
1 (8 oz.) Hershey bar, grated
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a large bowl, cream together butter, sugar and brown sugar. Mix in eggs and vanilla extract. Mix in flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Add remaining ingredients and mix together. Roll dough into small balls, no larger than ping pong ball size, and place about 2 inches apart on lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake for 6 minutes, 7 at the most. Cookies should be moist and chewy. Makes approximately 5 dozen cookies.
