"THE KITCHEN SINK" 
16 oz. penne rigate (pasta)
5 carrots
1 stalk broccoli
28 oz. whole tomatoes
3 (1/4 inch) slices of hard salami sausage
1 tsp. basil
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese, grated

Cook the penne rigate (pasta) for 8 minutes and drain. Slice diagonally in 1/2 inch slices the carrots and the stalk part of broccoli. Microwave carrots and broccoli for 8 minutes on high power in a bit of water. Separate flowerets of broccoli and set aside.

With potato masher mash the tomatoes. Dice the salami into small cubes. Combine all ingredients into a casserole dish. Microwave on medium power for 10 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
