1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs

2 3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix, chill and roll in balls. Roll in sugar and cinnamon. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Good Christmas cookies. Roll them in red or green sugar.
