FRUIT COCKTAIL DESSERT 
1 c. unsifted flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 egg, beaten
1 #303 (med.) fruit cocktail less 1/4 c. juice

Stir all dry ingredients together. Add egg and cocktail. Stir mixture thoroughly. Pour into 9 inch square floured and greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Top with a mixture of 1 cup brown sugar and 1 cup chopped pecans, if desired.
