4 eggs 2 c. sugar 1 tsp. salt 2 tsp. vanilla 2/3 c. shortening, melted 4 tbsp. cocoa 1 1/2 c. flour 2 c. chopped nuts Beat eggs lightly with wooden spoon. Stir in sugar, salt and vanilla, then cocoa dissolved in melted shortening. Stir in flour and nuts. Do not beat at any time. Spread mixture in a 9 x 13 x 2-inch greased pan. Bake at 325°F for 30 to 35 minutes. DO NOT OVERBAKE. |
