MONKEY BREAD 
2 c. milk
1/2 c. cooking oil
1/2 c. sugar
2 pkgs. yeast
1/2 c. water
2 eggs, beaten
2 tsp. salt
1 c. potato water
6 c. flour
Melted butter

Peel and cube 1 potato and cook until very soft in 1 1/4 cups water. Mash potato in water. Heat milk, oil, and sugar; cool to lukewarm. Dissolve yeast in water. Combine milk and yeast mixtures. Add eggs, salt and potato water. Add flour and mix well. Turn into greased bowl and grease top. Cover with tea towel and let rise in warm place.

To make into loaf, punch dough down, roll in flour, pinch off pieces and roll into 1 1/2 inch oblong shapes. Dip each into melted butter. Lay in greased and floured Bundt pan as you would stack bricks. Let rise and bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes or until brown.
