SIMPLY GOOD CAKE 
2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 1/3 c. sugar
1 sm. pkg. vanilla instant pudding
2 eggs
1/3 c. cooking oil
1 stick butter, melted
1 1/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine all ingredients. Stir or mix until well blended. Bake at 350 degrees in 2 (8 inch) round or 13 x 9 inch oblong pan lined with wax paper. Bake until fork can be inserted and pulled out clean, approximately 35 to 40 minutes. Let cool 15 minutes. Remove from pan.

For chocolate cake use chocolate pudding and 3 tablespoons cocoa (omit vanilla).
