VANILLA BROWNIES | |
1 1/2 sticks butter 1 (1 lb.) box light brown sugar 3 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 2 3/4 c. flour 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 (12 oz.) bag chocolate chips 1 c. nuts (optional) Soften butter in microwave. Put in mixing bowl; add brown sugar and beat. Add eggs and beat, one at a time. Add vanilla. Sift dry ingredients together and add to above. Beat. Add chips and nuts (if desired); mix. Spread evenly in a greased 13x9x2 inch pan and bake at 350°F for 35 minutes. Cooks Note: These brownies keep well in the freezer. |
