1 box (18 1/2 oz.) yellow butter cake mix
1/2 c. softened butter
3 eggs
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1 box (16 oz.) confectioners' sugar

Beat cake mix, butter and 1 egg. Spread mixture in a greased 13 x 9 inch pan.

Beat cream cheese, remaining eggs and confectioners' sugar. Beat well. Spoon over batter in pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool on wire rack. Cake will rise and then fall.
