BEEF SCALLOPED POTATOES | |
2 1/2 c. thinly sliced potatoes 1 med. onion, chopped 1 c. milk 1 lb. ground beef 2 tbsp. flour 1 c. cheddar cheese Cook potato slices 8 to 10 minutes; drain. In skillet, brown beef and onion; drain. Blend the flour in with the milk, then add to the beef mixture along with the cheese. Cook until cheese is melted. Arrange alternately a layer of potatoes then a layer of cheese-beef mixture in a 2 quart casserole. Cover and bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste. |
